Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.
Psalm 34:19-20
It is one thing to read the Word of God and know it must be true because it is the word of God. But it is an entirely different thing to have read the Word of God and to know it is true, not only because it is the Word of God, but because you have lived it out.
Though we are called to live by faith and not by sight, God is still faithful to show us His salvation, His mighty power at work in our lives and in the lives of others.
“With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Psalm 91:16
Our God is so good, that even though He already proved His undying love for us on a cross, He loves to prove it to us over and over again each day.
Just because a man and woman are now married, doesn’t mean they stop showing each other their love for one another. The same is true of God.
Now that we are reconciled back to our Father through the blood of Jesus, the relationship continues! Each day, we get to wake up in His presence and experience the fullness of joy that is our eternal inheritance. It is a joy that no one can take away.
Man may argue against the word of God, but man cannot argue against your own personal history with God. They cannot deny the faithfulness of God that has manifested in your own life. That is yours. It can only affirm your faith and open your eyes to the truth and saving power of God’s Word!
A history with God only serves to amplify the Word of God. It makes God’s Word seem so much more real to you when you have seen and tasted the goodness of God in your own life. When you have felt His warm comforting presence as you lie, brokenhearted in bed. When you have seen the enemy prowling around at night, looking to devour his prey, but still you hear God whisper to you, “You shall not fear the terror of the night.” When you have fallen into a pit of death, only to be pulled out by one strong mighty Hand. When you had chronic back problems, but never again after the elders of your church prayed for you. These are just a few of my recent testimonies!
God is so good, it would take years for me to tell you everything He has done. It would take a book, not just a blog article.
What has God done in your life? What is he doing now? What are you believing that He will do?
Our testimonies are so important. They help to encourage one another, to fan the flame of faith in a dark world. And most of all, our testimonies serve to magnify our Lord Jesus Christ, who is so good and worthy of all praise!
“For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.”
Romans 1:16
“Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
Revelation 12:11

I dont have the kind of history that you speak of, your “recent testimonies,” though I have experienced similar afflictions. The quotations you provide are themselves a kind of healing. Grateful for your faithfulness here, your daily messages.
